Back to Home Page l Practice Areas About Matthew P. McCue Attorney McCue graduated from Marquette University in 1988. He then worked with for several years with homeless men, including one year as a counselor at Bostons Pine Street Inn. In 1993, Attorney McCue graduated with honors from Suffolk University Law School where he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in both Trial Practice and Ethics. He then served as a judicial law clerk for the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court and for a United States Magistrate Judge assigned to the United States District Court District of Connecticut. Attorney McCue has since dedicated his trial practice to the pursuit of justice for consumers and accident victims. Attorney McCue is an active member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates (www.naca.org) as well as the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (www.mata.org) and the Association of Trial Attorneys of America (www.atla.org) These bar associations promote justice and fairness for injured persons, safeguards victims' rightsparticularly the right to trial by juryand strengthen the civil justice system through education and disclosure of information critical to public health and safety. Attorney McCue has written extensively in the areas of personal injury and consumer protection. His article on telemarketing laws was recently published in the Boston Business Journal. In August of 2003, Attorney McCue was recognized by the news publication Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as one of five Up and Coming Attorneys for 2003. This feature can be found here. Attorney McCue currently serves as the President of the Matty Eappen Foundation, an organization founded in memory of Matthew Eappen and dedicated to prevention of child abuse.
